Pickling tanks

Pickling, in which items are generally dipped in an acid solution, is a procedure used to remove the film of black oxidation which forms on the surface of metals after high temperature casting. When processing precious metals, this in-depth cleansing operation must be carried out with the greatest delicacy. The pickling tanks, available in models of 1.5E - 3.5E and 10,5E litres, are ideal for pickling operations in the processing of precious metals in conditions of maximum safety. Constructed in stainless steel, they are suitable for use with ecological product in accordance with current legal requirements. This means there is no need for an extraction hood or protective masks for the operators. The pickling tanks are equipped with a basket, also in stainless steel, in which the objects are placed and then dipped in the tank of pickling solution. The bath is heated by a thermostatically controlled element with fixed temperature setting (65°C), except for the model 10,5E, which has an adjustable thermostat with range 0 to 90°C, ensuring that the appliance is always ready for use.
